Class Logins for Flocab Lite Plan

Follow

Flocabulary's Lite plan is perfect for teacher-initiated instruction. To meet the needs of student-centered learning we have provided a Class Login for additional access to student-centered vocabulary activities.

In this article you will learn:

How to get a class login

If you have Flocabulary Lite (or are on a Lite trial), you automatically have a class login so that your students can watch Flocabulary videos and complete additional activities for independent practice at school or home.

Where to find your class login

When you log into Flocabulary.com, you will see your class login at the top of the homepage, beneath the purple search bar.

You will see a username and password. Click the asterisks to view the password. This username and password is the same for all of your students.

How the class login works

Share this username and password with your students (along with links to specific Flocabulary lessons, if you’d like!), and have them log in at flocabulary.com. With the class login, students will be able to:

  • Watch videos
  • Play a Vocab Game
  • Complete Read & Respond
  • Take a Quiz

Students can also explore Flocabulary, watch videos and do these 3 activities on their own.

You will not be able to see students’ scores, so we encourage you to use the class login for practice, skill remediation, and student choice. If you want, you could have your students send you a screenshot to show what they’ve completed.

To log in, students should click "Log In" on the top of the homepage or the video page you sent. They should not click "Join Class" or "Start as a student."

You can share this family letter with families to explain how to access Flocabulary at home.

We’d love to hear how you’re using the class login for distance learning. Feel free to share your feedback at nearpod.com/feedback.
