Introduction
Flocabulary Playlists give teachers the ability to curate a unit of Flocabulary lessons in a playlist format for a variety of classroom settings. Teachers can curate their own playlists or choose from a selection of content team created playlists. Teachers with a Flocabulary Plus license can also generate playlists through our AI-Powered playlist feature.
With playlists, teachers can:
- Quickly curate an entire unit’s worth of Flocabulary lessons at once, making planning a breeze!
- Play Flocabulary videos back-to-back in our new video player

How To Find Playlists
- Click on Playlists in the Nav Bar to get to the Playlists homepage
- The ‘Saved Playlists’ Section will show all playlists you have created and any content team created playlists you saved.

All Content Team created playlists you have access to can be found in their subject lanes underneath the ‘Saved Playlists’ section.

Click on any Playlist tile to view the Playlist Details page.
The Playlist Details Page
- Click on a playlist tile on the Playlist Homepage to view the Playlist details page
- The playlist details page will always include the name of the playlist, the play button, the list of lessons in the playlist, and the triple dots next to each lesson.
Playlist Base Functionalities:
- Click on the triple dots next to any lessons to preview the lesson or go to the individual lesson
- Video Player: Click the ‘play’ button to open the video player
- Within the player, you will see the video playing on the left, and the other lessons in the playlist listed on the right.
- The video player automatically auto-plays all the videos – you can turn this off
- You can view the lyrics by clicking on ‘lyrics’
- To skip a video from playing, click the triple dots next to the video and click ‘skip lesson during play’. If auto-play is enabled, it will skip the video and move to the next one.
- Hover over the ‘i’ icon next to a video to view additional information
How To Use Content Team Created Playlists
- Click on any Playlist tile created by the content team on the Playlist homepage.
- To save a playlist, click on the ‘save playlist’ icon. (Note: If you want to edit the playlist, you need to save it first.)
- You can also play the playlist and navigate to the individual lessons from this page.
How To Create a Playlist Yourself
- Click the ‘Create a playlist myself’ button on the Playlist homepage
Step 1: Setup
- Type in the Playlist name. You can also add a description or learning objectives to your playlist.
- Click the ‘Create playlist’ button
Step 2: Add Lessons
- Find Flocabulary lessons to add to your playlist from this modal

On the left, you can sort by our most popular lessons, lessons that you have favorited, and explore by subject and topic.

You can also search by keyword or use filters to find lessons

To add a lesson, click the ‘+’ button

To preview lesson details, click ‘preview’

You will see the number of lessons you’ve added to your playlist on the top right
- Once you have finished adding lessons, click the ‘x’ button
- Note: You can always edit your playlist to add more lessons
Step 3: View your playlist details
- On this page, you will see the name (and description if you filled out that section) of your playlist.
- Below are the lessons that you added to your playlist.
Editing your Playlist
Note: To edit a content team-created playlist, you must save it first!
- Click on any Playlist tile under the ‘saved playlists’ section on the Playlists homepage to enter the playlist details page

- Click on the triple dots next to the name of the playlist
- Click ‘edit playlist details’
- From here, you can edit the playlist name, description, subjects, and grades
- Once you have made updates, click ‘save details’
3. Adding lessons
- Click on the triple dots next to the name of the playlist and select ‘add lessons’ or click the ‘add lessons’ button above the list of lessons on the playlist details page
- Add lessons by clicking the ‘+’ button on the lesson tile
- You can also add recommended, most popular, and favorited lessons directly at the bottom of the playlist details page – just click the ‘+’ button next to the lesson
- Note: This section is not shown on the AI-Powered Playlist details page
4. Delete your playlist
- Click on the triple dots next to the name of the playlist and select ‘Delete playlist’
- Click ‘Delete playlist’ on the pop-up modal
- Note: This action cannot be undone
5. Reorder lessons
- To reorder the lessons in your playlist, click the icon to the left of a lesson and drag it to a new spot
- When you play your playlist, the lessons will appear in the updated order
6. Delete a lesson
- Click the triple dots next to a lesson and click ‘remove from playlist’
