Joining My Teacher's Class and Logging in to Flocabulary

Follow

At schools and districts with site licenses to Flocabulary, students can sign up and join classes. Students only need one account, but they can join multiple classes with that account. There are three ways that teachers can create classes for students to join. Check with your teacher to find out how your Flocabulary classroom has been created and then click on the link below to find out more about how to join your teacher's class.

Join with Flocabulary Class Code

If a teacher creates their classes manually in Flocabulary, students will be able to join using a Class Code. Once the code is shared by the teacher, students can go to www.flocabulary.com/join-class and enter the code in the space provided. Then click the blue "Submit" button.

Next, select whether you are new to Flocabulary and need to create an account or if you already have an existing Flocabulary account.

If you are new to Flocabulary, you can create a username and password and enter your first and last name to create an account, or you can use the Google or Office 365 SSO option to automatically create your account. If you choose the Google or Office 365 option, you will be prompted to sign into your account. It is typically recommended to use the Google or Office 365 options to use your district provided email address to create your account, but check with your teacher if you are unsure.

If you already have a Flocabulary account, you can log in with your existing username and password or use the Google or Office 365 SSO buttons to join the class.

Another way to join a class from an existing Flocabulary account is to log into your Flocabulary account and hover over your name in the top-right corner. Select "My Classes."

Select "Join a Class" in the top right of the screen.

Once a student has joined all of their classes, going forward, they can log in to Flocabulary by going to www.flocabulary.com/student and logging in with their username and password or SSO (whichever they selected when joining the class):

Join from Google Classroom

If a teacher imports a class into Flocabulary from Google Classroom, students will not need to create an account and join the class. This will automatically be completed for students when the teacher creates the class. Students will simply need to log into Flocabulary using their district Google email account. Go to www.flocabulary.com/student and click the Google option.

Join from Clever

If your school or district created Flocabulary accounts using Clever, first log into your Clever account. Then find and click on the Flocabulary tile from your Clever screen. This will automatically log you into Flocabulary and bring you to your home page.
